Someone posted this on Compuserve a while ago. I did make it once and didn't reckon much to it, but I expect a real sunflower seed fan might like it. Come to think of it I don't remember roasting the pumpkin seeds first, so perhaps it's all my fault it didn't turn out nicely. If you try it, please let me know how it goes.
Serves: 4 people
100g sunflower seeds, roasted and coarsely crushed
Preheat oven to 350' F 180'C, Mix together in a bowl the sunflower seeds,
breadcrumbs, onion, herbs and garlic. Layer the mix and sliced potatoes
in a lightly greased baking dish, ending with a layer of potatoes.
Combine the soya sauce and soya milk together and pour the mix, over the potatoes .
Dot with the margarine over the top and bake , covered, for 1half hours in the hot oven .
Uncover and bake for a further 30 minutes.
